Mankato, Minn. – The Northern State University wrestling team fell to Minnesota State, 6-44, in Northern Sun Conference action.
The Wolves went down 12-0 early in the match, leaving the 125 and 133 weight classes open. With NSU scoreless heading into the 157 match,
Sean Havlovic put the Wolves on the board. Havlovic tallied an 8-1 decision over Minnesota State's Sawyer Hoffman.
Joe Gomez was the second winner of the night for the Wolves in the 197 match. Gomez topped Scott VanDeLoo with an 8-2 decision.
Northern will be back in action February 8
th, versus University of Mary at home. The Wolves and Marauders will begin competition at 7 p.m. from Wachs Arena.
