Sean Havlovic at 157 pounds blanked Augustana's Shawn Hatlestad, 7-0 to pick up Northern State's lone win in its 43-3 dual loss to Augustana Wednesday night inside Wachs Arena.

Havlovic recorded a takedown in the first and third periods of the match and also recorded a reversal right away in the second period, to go along with a riding time point in the victory. With the win, Havlovic improves to 7-4 on the season.

The Wolves (0-3, 0-2 NSIC) had a couple of hard-fought bouts on the night that could have swung either way. Grant Steen lost in sudden victory overtime 7-5 to AC's Brandon Chestnut at 149 pounds while David Murphy at 184 lost 6-5 to Jeff Nielson. Nielson earned a one-point riding time advantage to secure the victory. In the feature match of the night, Joe Gomez lost to Jayd Docken 3-2 at 197 pounds.

NSU returns to action this weekend as the Wolves travel to the Nebraska-Kearney Midwest Duals where they will face Colorado Mesa, Western State (Colo.), Lindenwood (Mo.) and Newman (Kan.). The first match is set for 9 a.m.
