Brittany Tietz notched four saves in the first half of play, holding off the Viking offense.
Anna Bondy answered back for the Wolves with sixteen minutes to play in the match. An Augustana foul resulted in a Northern free kick just yards above the box.

Allie Macdonald on the play. Macdonald sent a cross into the box, where Bondy connected for her sixth goal of the season.
Tied at one all the two teams battled it out in the final minutes of regulation. Tietz collected two more saves in the half, while the Northern offense took six shots. The two teams headed to overtime, with the Vikings choosing to take possession of the ball, per the coin flip.
Nearly six minutes into the first overtime period, Augustana's Annie Thoresen sent a high cross into the Northern box, where Payton Pry headed it in for the score. Tietz finished the day with a total of eight saves, while Macdonald led the Northern attack with four shots.
The Wolves will take to the road next weekend as they travel to Minnesota. NSU will face Concordia-St. Paul and Minnesota State Mankato. Game times are set for 1 p.m. each day from St. Paul and Mankato.
