Box Score Photo GalleryAberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State University soccer team came away with their third victory of the season, a 2-1 win over Wayne State College. The Wolves improve to 3-4 overall and 2-2 in NSIC play.
Anna Bondy attacked early for the Wolves scoring her fifth goal of the season just under the five minute mark.

The Wolves entered the second half up 1-0 on the Wildcats.
Allie Macdonald quickly lengthened the gap by two with her first score of the season just five minutes into the half.
Bobbye Pendleton cleared the ball to Macdonald, who beat the Wildcat defenders and sent a shot just over the head of the Wayne State keeper.
Wayne State answered back with nearly twenty minutes remaining in the game; a crossed ball through the legs of a Northern defender. The Wildcats, however, were unable to even up the score at two all.
Brittany Tietz held the Wayne offense, recording five saves in the game.
Northern will be back in action tomorrow as they take on No. 24 Augustana College Vikings. Game time is set for 1 p.m. from Jerde Field.
