Box Score Brookings, S.D. – The Northern State University soccer team fell to Division I in-state opponent, South Dakota State University, 3-1 in mid-week play. The Wolves fall to 1-2 on the year, as they head into the start of the 2014 conference schedule. 
Anna Bondy continued to be the story for Northern as she netted her third goal of the season. Bondy's unassisted score tied up the game for the Wolves only minutes into the second half of play.

Allie Macdonald were the two other Northern women to take a shot against the Jackrabbits keeper. 
Brittany Tietz recorded her first double digit save game, as she racked up ten in 90 minutes of play. Tietz made seven saves in the second half to keep the Wolves in the game. Northern however was unable to hold off Alyssa Brazil who scored two for SDSU in the contest. 
The Wolves will return home this Sunday to begin the Northern Sun regular season. The 3 p.m. game is set to face NSU off against Minnesota State University Moorhead, from Jerde Field.
