Joe Gomez picked up a 4-1 victory over Southwest Minnesota State's Micah Larson at 197 pounds to give Northern State its lone victory in its 42-3 loss Friday night to Southwest Minnesota.

Sean Havlovic wrestled well in a losing effort at 157 pounds for the Wolves (4-9, 0-5 NSIC), falling to Codie Lane 6-4. Northern had to forfeit at two weight classes in the dual.

Next up, NSU travels to North Dakota on Wednesday and Thursday to face Minot State and U-Mary, respectively. Match times are set for 7 p.m.
