The Northern State wrestling team's final road dual of the season ended in a 25-19 loss Thursday night at U-Mary. The Wolves won five of the seven contested matches, but had to forfeit at three weight classes which led to 18 Marauder points.

Ian Muirhead got the Wolves on the board first at 141 pounds as he picked up a 10-2 major decision over Mary's Alec Lindsey. Muirhead dominated much of the match allowing just a pair of escapes in the match.

At 149 pounds, Beau Voegeli pinned Jared Keller late in the first period. Voegeli was already up 6-0 when he got the fall. Sean Havlovic won 9-7 at 157 pounds which gave Northern a 13-12 lead in the match.

Anthony Navarro (184) and Joe Gomez (197) both picked up decision victories on the night. Navarro defeated Riley Nagel 8-2, scoring five of his points in the opening period of the match. Gomez won 4-2 over Tom Devito in a thriller as he took down Devito in the fourth overtime period to pick up the victory.

The Wolves will finish their dual season next Thursday as Minnesota State comes to town for a 7 p.m. dual inside Wachs Arena.
