The Northern State wrestling team lost Wednesday evening in its second-to-last road dual of the season as the Wolves fell to Minot State 31-19 in Minot, N.D.

Cody Voegeli at 133 pounds and Blake Lundgren at 165 pounds both picked up pins in their matches Wednesday. Voegeli defeated Jacob Knudsvig at the 4:52 mark while Lundgren's pin came at the 6:11 mark over Donovan Williams. The pin was Lundgren's sixth of the season and second in his last three matches.

Ian Muirhead at 141 picked up a major decision victory over Minot's Zachary Cummings 12-4. Joe Gomez at 197 pounds was Northern's other match winner, as he won a tough 3-2 decision over Mitchell Eull.

Northern had to forfeit at two weight classes, giving the Beavers 12 team points. The Wolves (4-10, 0-6 NSIC) head to Bismarck, N.D. Thursday evening for a 7:00 match with U-Mary.
