The Northern State volleyball team fell in three sets Friday night on the road at Winona State. Set scores went 25-18, 25-20 and 25-20. The Wolves fall to 17-8 overall and 10-7 in NSIC play, while the win puts WSU (18-6, 12-5 NSIC) two games ahead of Northern in the conference standings.

Kelsey Chambers had seven kills to lead the Wolves and Mandy Kurosky and Cari McGarvie added five each. Drew Smith and Renee Hoffman both had 11 digs to lead the team. Smith recorded her 10^th double-double of the season as she added 20 assists in the loss.

Northern returns to action Saturday as it travels to face Upper Iowa in a 3 p.m. contest.
