Live StatsNorthern State returns to the road this weekend as the Wolves travel to face U-Mary in a 1 p.m. contest from Bismarck, N.D. The Wolves come into the game with a 5-3 record overall and a 3-1 mark in the NSIC North Division. The Marauders have an identical mark both overall and in divisional play. Mary is also 3-1 at home this season while NSU is 3-1 on the road.

Zachery Barber, who leads the league in kickoff return average at 33 yards per attempt, ranks sixth in the league averaging 124 all-purpose yards per game. Defensively,

Channing Barber's three interceptions are tied for the fourth-most in the NSIC.
About the MaraudersMary has won three straight heading into Saturday's game. The Marauders are led by quarterback Zach Roberson, who returned from injury last week and took home NSIC Offensive Player of the Week honors for his seven touchdown effort against MSU Moorhead. Roberson has passed for 826 yards and eight scores in just two games played this season. Wide receiver Elby Pope is Mary's top receiving threat. Pope is eighth in the league in receptions with 42 this season. He has 537 yards receiving and six touchdowns for the Marauders.
On defense, Mary is led by linebacker Grant Singer who is second in the conference with 96 tackles (12 per game). Singer was the Preseason North Division Defensive Player of the Year. Troy Guptill gives Singer help on the defensive side of the ball as he ranks second in the NSIC with 8.5 sacks on the season. Josh Kotelnicki is in his first season as the head coach for the Marauders
Last MeetingU-Mary won 28-14 in 2013 in Aberdeen. The Wolves recorded a blocked punt return for a touchdown in the loss.
The SeriesThe Marauders hold the all-time series lead at 6-2. The Wolves last won in 2012 when they set a school record for points scored in a single game in a 65-17 win. NSU has won two of the last three meetings in the series.
ForecastSaturday should be fairly nice in Bismarck as temps are expected to be in the low-50s with mostly sunny skies. However, strong winds are expected out of the south-to-southeast at 20-25 MPH.
