U-Mary Live Video Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State University soccer team heads into the final weekend of NSIC regular season soccer play. The Wolves begin the weekend at home against Minot State University on Friday with game time at 1 p.m. from Jerde Field. Northern then travels to University of Mary for a 1 p.m. match-up, Sunday in Bismarck.
NSU returns home after a weekend sweep at Sioux Falls and Southwest Minnesota State.
Allie Macdonald recorded the two game winning goals for the Wolves, as they defeated the Cougars and Mustangs 1-0.
Brittany Tietz added her third and fourth shutouts of the season, notching 13 total saves in the two games.

Anna Bondy connected with Macdonald to tally their first and third assist of the year respectively. The Wolves are currently 6-10 overall and 5-8 in conference play, with a tenth place standing.
The Minot Beavers are 8-6-2 overall and 7-5-1 in the Northern Sun, as they are in the hunt for a conference tournament berth with a sixth place standing. Minot State is 3-1 on the road in the last two weeks of NSIC play. Emilie Rebelo leads the Beaver offense with five goals and two assists on the year. As a team MSU has outscored their opponents 22-16 and saved 95 total shots. Keeper, Celene Johnson, has recorded 71 total saves on the year, all in conference play.
The Marauders are 5-8-3 on the year and 4-7-2 in conference play. They will return home for the final game of the season against the Wolves, after a Friday match-up with MSU Moorhead. U-Mary is led Michelle McGeary and Andrea Muller with five goals apiece this season. Shelby Buttron has recorded 83 saves for the Marauders this season with two shutouts. Mary sits in the 11
th spot in the league standings just behind Northern State.
