ABERDEEN, S.D. - The Northern State Women's Soccer team hit the road bright and early Thursday morning, headed for Topeka, Kan. and their first matches of the 2013 campaign.
 
The Wolves will begin the road trip taking on the Washburn University Ichabods, Friday at 7 p.m. They will then travel to Maryville, Mo. to take on the Bearcats of Northwest Missouri State Sunday at 2 p.m.
 
NSU is coming off a 3-12-3 season in 2012 and looking for an immediate impact from this years incoming freshmen. Head Coach Steve Kehm has brought in talent from across the country as the Wolves squad of 27 comes from a total of 15 different states.
 
Northern's home opener with Jamestown is set for Thursday, September 12 at 6 p.m from Jerde Field.
