Aberdeen, S.D. - The Northern State University Women's Soccer team will take on Wayne State University and Augustana College this Saturday and Sunday on the road. NSU goes into the weekend with a 4-0 record overall and 1-0 in NSIC play.
NSU is coming off a five goal week with key plays coming from a variety of members on the squad. Game one of the week for the Wolves was a thriller in the second half of play with all seven goals and 25 total shots in 45 minutes.
Alyssa Wilde led the attack for NSU scoring two goals in just minutes of each other. Wilde was joined by
Miranda Brower and Bobyye Pendleton with a goal a piece in the game. Freshman
Kay Hernandez scored the game winner for the Wolves, off an
Anna Bondy assist. The Wolves out shot the Dragons a whopping 32 to nine in the game with a total of 16 shots on goal.
Game times are set for 1 p.m. each day from Wayne, Neb. and Sioux Falls, S.D..
