Aberdeen, S.D. - Down by one at the half, the Northern State women's basketball team suffered a loss to Wayne State College 53-66. A high scoring second half improved the Wildcats to 14-7 and 10-7 in conference play, while the Wolves slide to 14-7 and 10-7 in the loop.

Megan Mutchler was the star of the night for the Wolves connecting for a three point shot at the half buzzer and scoring 15 total on the night. Senior

Devon Brecke would also add ten a piece to the effort. NSU out-rebounded the Wildcats 43-39 led by sophmore
Rachel Krogman pulling in 14. Hintz would add nine to the mix.
The freshmen and sophmore duo of Addy Roller and Jordan Spencer shot 51.6 percent from the floor scoring 27 and 24 points repectively. As a team the Wildcats shot 40.7 percent on the night, dropping four three pointers.
The Wolves look to come back in game two of the home stand against Augustana College at 5 p.m. from Wachs Arena.
