The Northern State wrestling team will be home for the first time in 2013 as the Wolves host Dakota Wesleyan Thursday in the first dual match of the season. The match is slated for a 7 p.m. start inside Wachs Arena.

The Wolves are coming off a solid performance at last weekend's Dakota Wesleyan Open held in Mitchell. Eight Northern wrestlers placed sixth or higher at the tournament and were led by Anthony Bruno's second-place finish at 125 pounds.

Cody Voegeli placed sixth at 133, Cody's brother Beau took sixth at 149 pounds, Sean Havlovic took home third at 157, Tanner Olsen and Blake Lundgren each placed sixth at 165 and 174, respectively. Joe Gomez placed third at 197 and Dustin Caspers was sixth at heavyweight.

Thursday will be one of 12 dual matches for the Wolves this season and the first of six at home. After this week, Northern will be off for Thanksgiving and will return to action for the final tournament of the season as the Wolves will travel to the MSU Moorhead Open Dec. 7.
