Aberdeen, S.D. - The Northern State University Women's Basketball team will kick off the 2-13-14 season this Friday and Saturday on the road. The Wolves will begin the weekend taking on the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology Hardrockers at 7 p.m. from Rapid City. Saturday play will then bring a match-up with the Yellow Jackets of Black Hills State University with game time set for 6:30 p.m.

NSU returns four out of thier five starters from just a season ago while adding a variety of freshmen that show some depth from the bench. Senior
Alison Kusler is nearing 1,000 career points in her final season with Northern State.
The women will begin home play in just over a week as they match-up against the Eagles of Central Methodist University (Nov. 23) and the Comets of Mayville State (Nov. 25) with game times set for 2 and 6 p.m.
