Winona, Minn. - The Northern State University Soccer team was shutout for the second time on the weekend by Winona State. The Warriors scored three goals in the game improving their record to 6-2-2 on the year and 5-2 in the NSIC. With their fourth loss of the season the Wolves now sit at 6-4 overall and 3-4 in league play.
The Wolves were out-shot in the game 4-16.
Shaina Stein made a total of six saves on the day, as NSU was only able to muster one shot on goal, coming from sophomore
Allie Macdonald.
NSU will return home next weekend to take on Bemidji State University and Minnesota, Crookston. The Wolves will face off with the Beavers, Saturday at 1 p.m., while they take on the Golden Eagles, Sunday at 1 p.m., from Jerde Field.
