Swimming Takes the Road to Moringside Invite

Aberdeen, S.D. - The Northern State University swim will travel to Sioux City Iowa this weekend to take on the Mustangs of Moringside College the Cougars of Minnesota Morris. This will be the second competition of the year for the women. A team filled with experience as well as five newcomers has already seen great improvements since one year ago.

The Wolves will begin the preliminary rounds Friday November 1st beginning at 6 p.m. and conclude with the finals beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday November 2nd. In their first match-up for the season, the Wolves competely strongly against difficult opponent Minnesota State University Moorhead.

With the break between races, Lindsey Wilson will be back in the pool for NSU after missing the first meet. Both Samantha Bahr and Julia Upshaw will be sidelined due to injuries. Look for Samanthat Gunning, Amanda Taylor and Katelyn Rhodes to continue their hot streak from a few weeks ago. The extra training time has been curcial for Mikaela Waiflen as she strives to improve her distance time.
