Aberdeen, S.D. - As the ninth team in the NSIC standings, Northern State University Soccer is on the hunt to finish in the top eight in the league at the end of the regular season with only four games remaining.
NSU will take the road this weekend as they compete against the Huskies of St. Cloud State University and the Bulldogs of University of Minnesota Duluth. The Wolves will begin the weekend against SCSU Saturday October 26th at Noon before traveling to matchup against UMD Sunday October 27th at 1 p.m.
St. Cloud and Northern took the 2012 contest to double overtime ending in a 1-1 tie just a season ago. The Huskies sit only one spot below the Wolves in the conference standings with each team in the hunt fo r a win and the illusive three points to bump them into the conference tournament.
The Bulldogs topped NSU in 2012 with a 4-2. With only four games to go on the year, Duluth has solidified its spot in the NSIC tournament.
