Aberdeen, S.D. - For the second time in two games, a big second half leads the Northern State women's basketball team to a road win with a score of 68-55 over Minnesota State University Moorhead. The Wolves improve to 10-4 on the year and 6-4 in the conference, while the Dragons fall to a 7-7 mark and 4-6 in league play. 

Alison Kusler scored a career high 25 points on the night and for the second game in a row shot 100 percent from the free throw line. Sophomore Rachel Krogman scored 14 points with ten rebounds, nabbing her sixth double-double of the season. The second half proved to be key for the Wolves as the went on a ten point run mid-way through the period, holding the Dragons at 39. With a 11 point lead the NSU women would score 18 more in the game to top the Dragons by 13.

Six players scored for the Wolves on the night. Sophomore Megan Mutchler shot 100 percent from the free throw line scoring ten total in the game. Adding to the team total, sophomore MacKinzie Magner was 75 percent from the field scoring a season high six points. 

The NSU women will return home this Friday and Saturday to take on Southwest Minnesota State University, at 6 p.m., and University of Sioux Falls, at 5 p.m., from Wachs Arena.
