ABERDEEN, S.D. -
Northern State senior Collin Pryor scored a season-best 22 points to lead the Wolves to their seventh straight victory and their second straight on the road in a 77-58 win over Minot State Saturday evening in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference men's basketball action.

NSU moved to 7-2 overall and 3-0 in NSIC play with Saturday's win.  The Beavers slipped to 1-5 on the season and 0-3 in the loop.

Pryor, who is averaging 19.2 points per game in NSU's last five wins, was 9-for-17 from the floor and scored all 22 of his points in just 25 minutes.  NSU sharpshooters Michael Emge and Mack Arvidson backed up the inside play from Pryor, combining to go 5-for-7 from long range off the bench.  Emge finished with 12 points, while senior forward Dustin Tetzlaff notched an 11-point, 10-point double-double, snaring eight of those ten boards on the offensive end of the court.

Northern State controlled the contest from the start, allowing the Beavers to take the lead only briefly on two occasions.  NSU took the lead for good with 16:54 left in the first half and pushed the lead to as many as 15 by halftime.

MSU's Anthony Enriquez tallied a team-best 19 points, but no other player scored more than seven for the Beavers.

The Wolves return home next weekend for another key weekend of NSIC play, hosting St. Cloud State in an 8 p.m. tip on Friday and Minnesota-Duluth at 7 p.m. on Saturday.
