BURNSVILLE, Minn. - Northern State sealed its post-season ticket a week ago, and with four straight wins to end the 2012 regular season, the Wolves are seeded fifth in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference tournament, to be held Nov. 16-18 in St. Paul, Minn.
As the fifth seed in the eight-team affair, the Wolves will face fourth-seeded Wayne State in the first round. Game time for that match is set for 5 p.m. on Friday. The winner will take on the winner of tournament host and top-seeded Concordia-St. Paul and eighth-seeded Augustana in the semifinals.
All seven matches of the tournament will be held in CSP's Ganglehoff Center.
NSU finished the regular season at 18-10 overalland 13-7 in NSIC play. The 18 total wins marks NSU's highest win total since 2002.
