CROOKSTON, Minn. - The Minnesota, Crookston Golden Eagles used a goal early and an insurance goal late to take a 2-0 win over the Wolves Saturday afternoon in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference soccer action.

UMC scored a goal just six minutes into the game to take the lead.  The Golden Eagles tacked on an insurance goal with 39 seconds left in the game, while holding NSU to just seven shots in the game.  Rachel Goslinga had four of the seven NSU shots, including th lone shot on goal.

NSU drops to 3-7-1 overall and 2-5-1 in NSIC play.  UMC moves to 2-8-1 on the season and 2-5-1 in the loop.
