SIOUX FALLS, S.D. –
The Augustana College Vikings picked up their second consecutive straight-set victory on Saturday afternoon, downing the visiting Northern State University Wolves in a 3-0 (25-18, 25-23, 25-19) Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference decision.

The loss drops the Wolves to an even 6-6 overall and 1-4 in NSIC play.  It also marks the Wolves' first conference loss to a non-ranked opponent this season.  Augustana moves to 8-4 overall and 2-2 in the league.

The Vikings held NSU to just a .158 attack percentage, while taking advantage of 18 net errors and another eight at the service line to take control of the match.

NSU junior Konefesi Vaisigano notched 12 kills and a .281 attack percentage, while redshirt freshman Carli Peterson added 10, but the efforts were overshadowed by the Viking trio of Holly Hafemeyer, Taylor Hrdlichka and Jordan Spatenka, who combined for 29 kills and just four errors.  Hrdlichka and Brooke Lewko were each in on three blocks for the Vikings, who finished the night with six team rejections.

NSU returns home next weekend to kick off a four-match homestand, hosting Upper Iowa on Friday and Winona State on Saturday.  Friday night's action tips off at 7 p.m., while first serve on Saturday is slated for 3 p.m. in Wachs Arena.
