SETTING THE STAGE:
The Wolves went 1-1 in their last weekend of games during the 2011. Sophomore Alison Kusler led the Wolves to a 73-60 victory over the Bemidji State Beavers. Kusler set a career high with 23 points in the contest while junior Sarah Hintz also set a career high with 14 points. Senior Emily Becken had a season high of ten assists for the Wolves in the victory. The following night the Wolves fell to the University of Minnesota-Duluth. 26 turnovers by the Wolves contributed to the 68-52 setback. Becken led the Wolves with 17 points in the contest.

NSU leads the series with UIU 11-1
NSU leads the series with WSU 43-9

About the Peacocks:  
Upper Iowa is 0-9 (0-5 NSIC) on the season and 0-4 on the road. The Peacocks are lead y Whitney Kieffer with 14.4 points per game, while also hauling in six rebounds per game. Jeri Jacobson also averages double-digits for the peacocks with 10.8 points per game. Laura TerHark shoots 40 percent from beyond the arc, hitting 19-47 three point baskets.  

About the Warriors:
Winona State is 7-4 (2-3 NSIC) on the season and 2-1 on the road. WSU is lead by Michelle McDonald with 14.5 points per game and also leads the team with 7.5 rebounds per game. Katie Wolff leads the Warriors with 48 assists on the season which translates 70 4.36 per game which leads the NSIC.
