ABERDEEN, S.D. -  Northern State returns home to the site of their most recent win after a tough road trip to seventh-ranked Minnesota-Duluth last weekend.  The homecoming present, however comes in the form of the Bemidji State Beavers, who are licking their wounds after a 49-21 setback at the hands of the U-Mary Marauders last weekend.  BSU had previously been ranked 20th in the nation, but dropped out of the Top 25 following the loss.

Last Meeting: Northern State University scored the final touchdown of each half and held the host Bemidji State University Beavers to just two second half TD drives, but couldn't overcome an early four-touchdown deficit in falling 41-13 to the Beavers in the 2010 battle of Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference North Division foes.

About Bemidji State: The Beavers (6-2, 5-2 NSIC) dropped out of the AFCA Division II Coaches Poll on Monday, two weeks after they cracked the Top 25 for the second time.  BSU has been ranked in three of this year's eight regular season polls (Sept. 19 - 24th; Oct. 10 - 23rd; Oct. 17 - 20th).

Head Coach Jeff Tesch: Tesch is in his 16th season roaming the sidelines at Bemidji State. He has posted an overall record of 104-65 (.615), which includes a 79-48 (.622) mark in NSIC tilts. In 16 seasons, Tesch has established BSU standards for games coached (169), victories (104), career winning percentage (.615) and conference wins (79).

Series History: Last season's win by BSU evened the all-time series at 16 wins apiece for the two teams.  NSU, however, has not won since the 2004 season when they took a 34-31 victory at home.
