Wolves salute Armed Forces with Military Appreciation Day

ABERDEEN, S.D. – Northern State University athletic officials have announced that Saturday's Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference football game against the University of Minnesota-Duluth has been selected as NSU's Military Appreciation Day.

All military personnel will receive free admission to the game with their military identification.  All veterans are also asked to meet on the track six minutes prior to the game to be recognized during the playing of the national anthem.

The Wolves play host to the Bulldogs in a battle of NSIC North Division foes on Saturday.  UMD is ranked second in the latest AFCA Top 25 poll, which was released on Monday.  NSU is coming off a 38-0 victory over Minnesota, Crookston on Saturday, while the Bulldogs claimed a 49-0 win over the University of Mary. 

Kick-off is slated for 2:30 p.m. at Swisher Field.  Pre-game tailgate and Kids Zone areas will open at 12:30 p.m. at the south end of the complex.
