ABERDEEN, S.D. - Northern State University fans looking for an action-packed night of football need look no further than Saturday's Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference matchup against St. Cloud State University.  Besides an exciting game on the field, the contest will also feature pre-game tailgating by the Wolves Club and a half-time fireworks show provided by Lew's Fireworks.
The Wolves Club tailgate will start at 5 p.m., two hours before the scheduled kickoff time of 7 p.m., at the south end of the stadium.  The event is open and free to all Wolves Club members.
The fireworks will take place at halftime of the game following the first marching band performance of the year.  Lew's Fireworks is owned and operated by the father of current Wolves offensive lineman Ben Kapelle.
Saturday's game will also feature NSU's annual celebration of the Take a Kid to the Game program.  For every paid adult admission, one child will be admitted to the game for free.  The NCAA grassroots program provides institutions to introduce their athletic programs to area youth while also boosting attendance.
