ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Northern State University volleyball team traveled to St. Paul, Minn. Friday to take on the #1 Concordia University-St. Paul Golden Bears, and left with a 3-0 loss. Concordia University remains unbeaten in the conference with the win. Set scores for the match were 15-25, 14-15, and 8-25.
Caitlin Oelke led the offense with five kills on a .455 hitting percentage.
Jill Rasmussen and Claire Kopfman each had four kills, with Rasmussen also contributing five digs on defense.
Megan Gilbraith had sixteen assists, and also accounted for three kills on offense and four digs on defense.
Melanie Perez led the defense with six digs, and Whitney Morshing and Kopfman each contributed two assisted-blocks on defense.

With the loss, the Wolves fall to 13-10 overall on the year, including a 4-9 mark in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference. They will face off against the Huskies of St. Cloud State Saturday at 4:00 p.m. in St. Cloud, Minn. The Huskies are 3-10 in the NSIC, and 5-16 overall in 2008.
Northern State is a NCAA Division-II member of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference and is located in Aberdeen, South Dakota.
