FAYETTE, Iowa - The Wolves of Northern State (7-3-2, 0-0-1 NSIC) and the Upper Iowa Peacocks (6-5-1, 0-0-1 NSIC) tied 1-1 after two overtimes in their NSIC opener on Saturday afternoon. Katherine Bronson kept the Wolves alive with a goal just two minutes before the end of regulation. The ball was put in the net after a corner kick feed from

Neither the Wolves nor the Peacocks managed to get many shots off during the overtime periods and the teams settled for a tie. The Wolves took 20 shots in the game, 12 of which went on goal. The Peacocks had just 12 shots and five shots on goal in the game. Their lone goal was at the 75:20 mark. Bronson has scored in three of the Wolves' past five games.
Northern wraps up their road trip with a 1:00 pm game against Winona State tomorrow afternoon.
