ABERDEEN, S.D. - Northern State University President Patrick Schloss is pleased to announce that KSFY will be broadcasting Wolves basketball games on Sat, Jan. 19. The Wolves take on the University of Mary live from the Barnett Center in Aberdeen, with the women tipping off at 6 p.m. followed by the men at 8 p.m.
This will be the second year that KSFY has broadcast a Wolves basketball game from Wachs Arena in the NSU Barnett Center. Last year's broadcast by KSFY was the first time the NSU Wolves were televised from Aberdeen. The game will be broadcast and seen locally on KSFY. In North Dakota, the broadcast can be seen of KFYR, KMOT, KUMN and KQCD.
“We are very excited to again be joining with KSFY to expand the coverage of Northern State basketball,” said NSU President Patrick Schloss. “Coaches Curt Fredrickson and Don Meyer have done a tremendous job and this is a great opportunity for us to share Wolves basketball with a much wider audience.”
“Last year's coverage of NSU basketball was a great success for KSFY, and we are again excited to showcase the Barnett Center and some of the finest NCAA basketball in the country,” said Kelly Manning, KSFY General Manager.
Manning went on to say that KSFY is working with NBC North Dakota News, in Bismarck, to make this production a reality. This will give KSFY the opportunity to reach viewers living in Williston, N.D. to Worthington, Minn. with this production.
