Cross Country Courses

General Information: The Northern State University men's and women's cross country teams practice and compete at a variety of locations in the Aberdeen community. The Wolves primarily practice on their private facility just blocks from campus, as well as the local Richmond Lake Course in northwest Aberdeen and Brown County.

NSU Private Practice Course
The Wolves private practice facility is just five blocks from the Northern State University campus. The course features 3200-meters of uninterrupted grass trail near the local Moccasin Creek. The interval training course offers student athletes the ability to take on either a 1000-meter loop, 800-meter loop, or both.

Richmond Lake Course
Known as the Richmond Lake Long Run course, this outdoor facility offers NSU cross country student-athletes 10-12 miles of differing terrain. The loop consists of mostly grassland, with some dirt and gravel trails, as well as roads and constant rolling hills.

Lee Park Golf Course
The Lee Park Golf Course is used to host the Wolves annual NSU Alumni Open. The golf course run offers mostly grassland running with some change in conditions throughout.
