Al Sahli Track

General Information: The Al Sahli Track, as well as field event areas, is one of the best track and field facilities in the region. The facility is housed on the Brownell Activities Complex on the campus of Aberdeen Central High School.

With multiple runways and landing areas for the jumps and throws, the facility can adjust based on wind and weather conditions. The facility features seven long and triple jump landing pits, six pole vault runways on three pits facing any of the four directions, three shot put rings, four discus/hammer throw rings and two javelin runways featuring the same all-weather surface as the 400-meter track.

NSU hosted the NSIC Outdoor Track and Field Championships as recently as 2010 and is set to host in 2022.  Swisher Complex was also selected as the site for the USATF Regional Junior Olympic Track & Field Meet in the summer of 2013. The facility has also been used by the South Dakota senior games in 2015 and 2016.
