Fossum Field

General Information: The Northern State baseball team practices and plays at Fossum Field.  Located in northeast Aberdeen at the corner of 8th Avenue Northeast and Brown County 19, Fossum Field has seating capacity for 2,500 spectators, with bleacher-style seating both in the grandstand behind home plate and down the baselines.

Fossum Field features a full press box, along with indoor restroom facilities and picnic tables in the main entrance area. Bullpens for both the home and visiting teams are located in foul territory down the first and third baselines. In addition to the field itself, the facility offers batting cages behind the third base dugout, and a full sized practice field to the north.

Renovations: Improvements have been made over the years, most recently the replacement of the outfield fence in 2011. With the addition of the Hub City Hotshots wood bat team, additional updates were made in the spring of 2018. Fenced in party area were added in foul territory down each baseline, while the concessions, dugouts, and bathroom areas received a new coat of paint.
