Vagn Finnsson took second in the heptathlon at the SDSU D2 Open. He tallied a provisional mark of 4,838 ranking him 22nd nationally and third in the Northern Sun. The freshman notched marks of 7.10 (60m), 6.61m (long jump), 10.76m (shot put), 1.89m (high jump), 8.69 (60m hurdles) 4.05m (pole vault), and 3:08.34 (1000m).
