Fischer opened Northern State's dual victory over Southwest Minnesota State with a technical fall. He defeated Ben Emrich by a score of 18-2 at 5:41 in the match. He tallied one take down, two reversals, and 12 nearfall points in the win. He recorded his sixth win of the season and first in the NSIC.
