Roth defeated No. 12 Brandon Carroll in a 6-5 decision, and tallied Northern's first match victory in their dual against Augustana. He recorded two takedowns, an escape, and riding time point to secure the victory. Roth improved to 6-3 on the year and 2-0 in the NSIC.
