Hannah Kastigar participated in both swimming and cross country this week, being a crucial member of both teams. In the swimming meet against MSU Moorhead, Kastigar picked up race wins in the 100 butterfly, the 400 IM, and part of the 800 relay team that finished first. Her time in the 400 IM was under the “B” cut time by four seconds—she finished the race with a time of 4:26.87. Her time in the 100 butterfly was two seconds short of the “B” cut line in the 100 butterfly. In the NSIC Preview cross country meet, Kastigar was the top runner for the women, finishing ninth with a time of 22:57.6.
