Tanya Vassar set a new school record in the pole vault on Saturday in her first competitive season of vaulting.  Vassar cleared 3.17 meters (10-4.75) in that event, one of her five of the day.  The sophomore also finished second in the high jump, third in the long jump, fourth in the 55-meter hurdles and ran the third leg on NSU's winning 4x400-meter relay squad.
