Tanner Berg won the hammer throw at the Alex Francis Classic throwing a national provisional mark of 58.88m, beating his nearest opponent by 2.42m. Berg broke the school record on five of his six throws from the Classic, and now ranks tenth nationally, and first in the NSIC in the event. To cap off the meet, Berg also finished seventh in the shotput, throwing 14.05m.
