Edda Skoric became just the sixth All-American in program history and just the second swimmer to tally a top-3 finish at the NCAA National Swimming Championships in Greensboro, N.C. At the event, Skoric raced in the 200 back, 100 back, and 200 freestyle. In the 200 back, Skoric took third overall finishing with a time of 1:58.27, moving up eight placed from her 2016-17 placing, and being one of only two swimmers to make an NCAA ‘A’ cut in the event. In the 100 back, Skoric raced to a time of 55.94, finishing 19th overall, and moving up five places from her seed mark. Skoric finishes her season with the second All-American honors of her career, winning the NSIC Championship in the 200 back, and breaking the school record in the 500 free, 100 back, 200 back, 200 free, 400 free, 200 medley and 400 medley relays.
