Hanneke Oosterwegel was announced as an All-Region honoree following the 2018 Division II Indoor track and field season. She defended her NSIC Championship title in the 400m dash from 2016-17, finishing again as the top racer with a time of 56.30, defeating her closest competitor by .61 seconds. She also earned all-conference honors. Throughout the meet, Oosterwegel also took third in the 200m dash with a time of 24.96, earning another all-conference award. Later on Oosterwegel qualified for the 60m hurdles, and came sixth with a time of 8.83.
