Tanner Berg broke the Northern State school record in the weight throw on four of his six tosses from the Thundering Herd Classic in North Dakota on Saturday. Berg threw 17.61m for the first NCAA provisional mark of his career, moving him to 28^th nationally, and finishing seventh overall in the weight. Berg also went on to place top-15 in the shot put, throwing 14.20m.
