TJ Hochstetler, a junior out of Northern Cass High School in Arthur, North Dakota, won the NSIC vs. MIAA Showdown decathlon over the weekend with a personal best score of 5,981 points. Hochstetler ran times of 11.59 in the 100m dash, 53.92 in the 400m dash, 16.43 in the 110m hurdles, and 4:59.79 in the 1500m run. The junior jumped 6.62m in the long jump, 1.82m in the high jump, and 3.70m in the pole vault and threw 10.39m in the shot put, 30.32m in the discus, and 42.40m in the javelin. The Wolf finished second among the competitors in the discus, javelin and pole vault.
