Hanneke Oosterwegel, a sophomore from Diepenveen, Netherlands, shined for the Wolves this weekend in the NSIC vs. MIAA Showdown outdoor track and field meet. The sophomore broke three school records over the two days of competition which included crushing the 32 year old 100 meter hurdles record in the prelims Friday with a time of 14.19 seconds, then again besting her time to 14.13 seconds in the finals on Saturday finishing in third place overall. Oosterwegel now ranks fourth in the national with a provisional time in the 100m hurdles. Later Saturday, the Wolf went on to win the 400m hurdles event, breaking her own school record and dipping below the one minute barrier with a time of 59.69.
