Kastigar had a career weekend from the NCAA National Swimming Championships winning two national titles and four All-American honors. The junior became the National Champion in both the 400 IM and 200 Fly with school record times of 4:12.99 and 1:58.14 from the meet. She also became the first swimming All-American in school history, not once but four times in the 400 IM, 200 fly, 200 IM, and 100 fly finishing seventh in the 100 fly and third in the 200 IM. The Aberdeen native was also a member of the 800 free relay team which finished in a new school record time of 7:34.10, besting their previous mark by over five seconds.
