Gomez led the Wolves to their first NSIC victory of the season. Gomez was the only Wolf to record two extra point victories in the final week of the regular season. He defeated Jacob Green of U-Mary in a 22-7 technical fall and Briley Crissler of Minot State in a 22-8 major decision. The senior notched the 100th victory of his career versus Crissler, making him the 11th wrestler in school history to reach the milestone. He recorded 17 takedowns in the two wins for a total of 34 of his 44 points scored.
