Senior Mariah Nelson recorded her first career national qualifying mark in the discus event, which secured the win by well over a meter with a distance of 44.75m (146'10"). That mark currently places Nelson 29th in NCAA DII. Nelson would add a third place in the shot put with a throw of 12.74m (41'10").
