Sasha Hovind highlighted the Thundering Heard Classic for the Northern State women's track team, setting a school record in the 3,000 m run, with a time of 9:59.99. Her third place finish shattered the 30 year old school record of 10:25.82. The run also marks Hovind's first career provisional national qualifying time, as she sits 22nd in the nation.
