Wolves redshirt freshman, DJ Pollard, was lights out in the men's basketball team's Friday victory over No. 7 Minnesota State Mankato. DJ knocked out a career high 28 points against the Mavericks, shooting 75.0 percent from the floor. Pollard's team leading five three point baskets concluded with the game winning, buzzer beater, to put Northern up 73-72. He added four rebounds, one block, and three steals in the game playing a total of 34 minutes. DJ is a Biology major at Northern State.
